| This took FAR too long, but it had to be done. This image is one of the front seat belt attachment brackets (20-V-4-5). They SHOULD simply slide in to the channel at the sides of the center spar and then be riveted in place. However they do not fit because they are the same size as the channel. So first I had to put it in a vise and bend it to make it smaller, and then bend the sides back out. Then I tried to rivet it but I can not get my rivet gun in to the rear side of it since my front skins are already riveted on. SO, I installed rivnuts so that I can bolt them in place. |
