Cut the longeron doublers to fit under bulkhead 3 at teh longerons. My doubler does not go as far behind the bulkhead as the drawings show. This is because I followed the drawings when I cut my longeron doubler and the drawings show it as being 360 mm from the front of the doubler to the firewall. However another drawing shows the front of the doulber as being bolted to 640-F-14-1 and that drawing shows the bolts at 10mm then 25mm then 25mm from the rear of 640-F-14-1. Well, these two drawings show two different positions for the doubler. So, I did the bolts as they show them and then added rivets two more rivets P20 in front of the bolts. This means that my doulber is about 45 mm to far forward by one drawing and perfect by the other drawing. Which one is correct? I don't know, but I also do not see any reason to remove my doublers and change the position. Just as a side note, the IPL also says that 640-F-14-6 is 360 mm from the firewall, however the drawings show this part as being lined up with the rear of 640-F-14-1... again... which is correct?
